‘The Walking Dead’ season 6, episode 7: Is Glenn alive or dead?

For all of those “Walking Dead” fans who have been eagerly awaiting the news regarding Glenn and his fate, the show wasted almost zero time on Sunday night giving you an answer. (Spoilers ahead!)

After weeks of speculation, it was revealed during the opening minutes of the episode that Glenn made it! He somehow survived by getting out of arm’s reach, and then managed to survive with just a tiny amount of water at his disposal. Glenn heard everything that was going on at Alexandria, but there was nothing that he could do about it. The first person he managed to find after getting free was Enid, who had to be pretty low on the list of people he actually wanted to see.

The thing that we imagine could frustrate some out there is that the show clearly wanted you to think that something seriously wrong could have befallen Glenn, given the way that the scene with him and Nicholas was shot and then the weeks that they took to give you this reveal. Many eagle-eye fans had already figured out that the character likely survived all this, thanks in part to the fact that Steven Yeun had been seen on the show’s set recently.

We’re going to look at this from a critical perspective a little bit later tonight at the link here, but for now, we wanted to at least give you this news for those of you who have been so desperate for information one way or another. We understand the anticipation, and just how long the show has caused you to wait for answers on this.
