Is ‘Once Upon a Time’ season 5, episode 10 new tonight on ABC?

Tonight, ABC is bringing a night of big entertainment to the screen with the American Music Awards hosted by Jennifer Lopez, and it is a show that they are hoping to get some good ratings for.

Unfortunately, here is the downside: There is no new episode of “Once Upon a Time” on the air. The fairy-tale drama is taking a brief hiatus thanks to the show (as they typically do around this time), and they will come back on the air in one week’s time with the second-to-last episode of the Dark Swan story arc … or at least what we believe to be the second-to-last episode. The tradition for the past two seasons has been to basically tell an entirely different story in each separate chunk of episodes, and early rumors suggest that we are going somewhere different next in the Underworld and meeting some characters such as Hercules and Meg to go along with it.

Just in case you are extremely hungry for something new when it comes to the ABC series, may we suggest the new Twitter tease below from executive producer Adam Horowitz? It gives you a sense that the conflict between Emma and Mary Margaret is not stopping anytime soon, not that you probably thought that it would be. While we may know a little more about Emma’s motives than we once did, this is still someone with the Dark One inhabiting her. That’s not something that you can really back away from easily.
