‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 10 preview: First look at ‘Flags of Our Fathers’

Blue Bloods season 6While we learned some good news at the end of this past episode of “Blue Bloods” courtesy of Frank not deciding to enter retirement, we are going to have to unfortunately retire for a few weeks when it comes to writing about new episodes. Why? It’s as simple as the fact that there are no more to write about for a while.

“Flags of Our Fathers” is going to be the next new episode of the show airing on December 11, and based on the synopsis below (via SpoilerTV), Frank is going to be facing another significant, political issue almost immediately after making his clear decision:

“Danny is interrogated by the District Attorney’s investigator when his ex-partner is accused of planting evidence in order to wrap up a homicide case. Also, when radical anti-government activists threaten to publicly burn an American flag, Frank grapples with the limits of free speech.”

It clearly looks as though there will be a lot going on in this episode, but there is no clear indication if this is going to be the last episode of 2015 or not just yet. If it is, it’d be somewhat odd that CBS chose to give us one episode in the middle of December, really without a whole lot else in the way of story surrounding it.

Then again, this is a network that is at times somewhat difficult to read and figure out in terms of precisely what they want for their episodes schedule-wise. Since many of them are procedural, there’s less of a need to air them in succession.
