Is ‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 25 new tonight on the Disney Channel?

“Girl Meets World” as a show has brought a lot to the Disney Channel this year. It has brought them an audience of people who may not be regular viewers, a wide variety of stories, and also plenty of them. Think of it this way: Over 24 episodes have aired in the past year, and that’s a ton. That is more than any network series airs, and this includes the upcoming December 4 episode entitled “Girl Meets the New Year.”

Unfortunately, there is no new episode of the show tonight, and this particular installment is the only one that is coming up the remainder of this year. The photo above does give you a quick teaser of what to expect; while this story seems to be set after Christmas, the decorations are all clearly still there. That shouldn’t really come as too great of a surprise, given the fact that this is the sort of holiday that does bleed over.

As for the story, be prepared to see a big step in Riley recognizing that she shouldn’t just be okay with allowing Maya to pursue Lucas in her own way without making her feelings clear. It is nice that she cares so much about her friend and wants her to be happy, but is there anything wrong with her wanting to find a little bit of happiness for herself? We don’t think so.

Hopefully, the Disney Channel will release some more news over time, including a promo or two. We’ll have further scoop as it starts to come out!
