‘Scorpion’ season 2 spoilers: First look at Christmas episode!

Holiday episodes are often either a lot of fun to watch, or somewhat emotional. For “Scorpion” season 2 coming up later on December 14, we’re going to see the team face one of the biggest and most devastating crises in some time. The title here is “Dam Breakthrough,” and the synopsis for it is below:

“On Christmas Eve, Team Scorpion must prevent a catastrophe when torrential rains create a large crack in a dam, threatening to wipe out an entire town in its wake.”

In other words, there’s some devastating stuff going down! To us, the largest surprise here is mostly that we are not getting any other hints one way or another in regards to the Megan story. We hope that this does not mean it is ending Monday, but this synopsis is really so short that it’s hard to read much into it one way or another. This is what happens when CBS releases something more than a month in advance!

If nothing else, we are at least pleased to say that the series is going into the midseason finale with a sense of delivering something that is as high-octane as possible. Not only that, but here’s to hoping that it establishes at least a few big cliffhangers to get us excited about anything and everything that could be coming around the bend. The show will likely resume airing new episodes in January or February, but there is no precise date yet. We’ll let you know once we figure out more information!
