‘Criminal Minds’ season 11, episode 9 preview: The Dirty Dozen search continues
Earlier this season, suggestions were made that “Criminal Minds” was going to give you a pretty significant focus on the Dirty Dozen. To us, this meant probably just getting a few appearances from the hitmen group throughout the season.
Ultimately, we’ve been rather impressed with how much the show has decided to implement these characters! While we’re not going to say that they have had an extremely-regular presence, we’ve seen them mentioned and referenced enough for the series to feel somewhat serialized. They are going to be at the center in some ways of the next new episode, as well! The title of the December 2 installment (yep, no episode coming the day before Thanksgiving) is entitled “Internal Affairs.” You can see the synopsis for it below:
“After two undercover DEA agents are murdered and a third goes missing, the BAU joins the NSA to investigate whether an underground Internet drug syndicate is involved. Also, Hotch hopes the team’s work with the NSA brings them closer to finding the “Dirty Dozen” hitmen ring.”
For those wondering, you’re going to get one more episode coming up this season in “Future Perfect.” It’s pretty guaranteed that it will be the winter finale, given that December 16 is the three-hour “Survivor” finale and nobody is going to air a new episode two days before Christmas. As for whether or not you will see more of the Dirty Dozen story during that episode … we’re not going to say too much on that one way or another for the time being.
