‘The Blacklist’ season 3 star Megan Boone pregnant!

As mentioned in the title, Boone, who is of course best known as Liz Keen from “The Blacklist,” is expecting her first child with artist Dan Estabrook. The two have a very private relationship, but have been together for some time. E! News was the first to report this news, and the site claims that Boone is at present three months into the pregnancy.

As for whether or not the NBC show will write Boone’s pregnancy into the story, there is no information available just yet. With that said, production should be over a little bit before she is expected to give birth, so we don’t think it will have a tremendous impact at least on the third season. Whether or not they want to write it in will really only depend on if they can find a way to make it work story-wise. At the moment, we question if it would work for this show quite like it does “Once Upon a Time,” which may have to consider something similar following the news of Ginnifer Goodwin’s second pregnancy. That show has the benefit of having Snow White in a relationship with Charming, whereas Liz does not have a stable romantic partner at the moment. There are ways for that to change quickly, but can you imagine a child going on the run with her?

We imagine that we will figure out what the show plans to do one way or another over the coming episodes, but for now, let’s just focus on sending plenty of love and well-wishes Boone’s way!
