‘Chicago PD’ season 3, episode 9 preview: An unusual find
Wednesday night’s new episode of “Chicago PD” is going to be a fascinating one for many reasons. For one, you are going to continue to see Lindsay try to cope with the newfound sense of normalcy that she has with both her old job back and also her relationship with Halstead on track. From there, you are going to see a complicated case that tests not only the ability of Intelligence to get the job done, but the ability to separate their work from who they are.

“When the decapitated body of a woman found in Lake Michigan is connected to Voight’s (Jason Beghe) social circle, Lindsay (Sophia Bush) fears his relationship with the group may hinder his ability to approach the case objectively. Roman (Brian Geraghty) is having a hard time coping with recent events and an error in judgment causes him to make a grave mistake. Meanwhile, Olinsky (Elias Koteas) becomes upset when Antonio (Jon Seda) doesn’t consultant him before making a decision that could affect Michelle’s (guest star Madison McLaughlin) future.”
The sneak peek below is basically the discover of said body from the lake, and immediately Voight and Lindsay realize why they were called in. The bullet markings make it rather clear that there was foul play here, and it is a jumping-off point for what you are going to see the rest of the episode. For now, though, it is reasonably unclear just when we are going to see this start to tie in to Voight’s personal life.
