‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 9 preview: Can the team solve an unusual case?

NCIS -

Tuesday night marks another all-new episode of “NCIS,” and it is already fair to say that “Day in Court” is going to be a very different sort of installment than one that we traditionally see on the show. The sneak peek below gives you a little bit of insight into what we are going to be looking at … but there is far more going on here than even it makes clear.

Basically, the twist to the story is that there is a petty officer who basically allows himself to be court marshaled, but on the condition that the NCIS conduct its own investigation into what happened. He clearly has confidence in them to get the right result, and therefore the rest of the episode revolves around whether or not it was 100% the correct move making this decision. Based on some of the evidence that we’ve seen over the course of the show’s run, we’d say that it probably is.

If there is one thing that may help this man’s cause, it is the events of the sneak peek. It is revealed in here that while he may have a history of wrongdoing, he has since turned his life around and served with a clean record. This doesn’t mean that he is fully cleared from having done something wrong here, but it helps his case slightly.

Elsewhere in Tuesday’s episode we anticipate there being a little bit more conflict on the Bishop / Jake front, but that is something that we’ll get a little bit more into in due time.
