‘Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance’ episode 9 preview: An immunity idol search and more

Apparently, someone has come up with a name for the “Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance” version of the Three Amigos. Who is in it? Take a look at the video thumbnail below.

Based on some materials we’ve seen from CBS, Ciera, Abi-Maria, and Kelley Wentworth are going to be referred to as the “Witches Coven,” a name that is clearly not as fun as the Three Amigos unless they are using it themselves and it is somewhat tongue-in-cheek.

The preview below does not give us much other than an immunity idol search, so instead of focusing on that, we want to spend a minute or two instead discussing some of what we would be doing if we were in the position of some of these players.

1. The priority has to be to take out Joe. We don’t see anyone left wanting to take him to the left; as a matter of fact, what happened last week with Savage is probably the worst thing that could happen to him, even if he ironically is the one who, per Savage’s exit interview, clued Kelley into the plan. He wanted to go far in the game with him. You don’t know when Joe will lose immunity, so you have to strike when the iron is hot.

2. If he doesn’t win, we feel like you have to target the three ladies in some capacity. At this point, it doesn’t feel like they’d ever turn on each other, and if anyone joins them they’ll just be fourth or fifth in that alliance. We don’t think these three made a bad move by being so close since they didn’t have much of a choice after the merge, but they may not have to start making it clear that they are willing to turn on each other.
