‘NCIS’ season 13, episode 9 video: What’s going on with Jake and Bishop?

It is no secret at this point that there is some conflict breaking out between Jake and Bishop on “NCIS.” How could it be? News about the state of the couple has been bandied about by many at this point, especially since many details surrounding Tuesday night’s new episode suggest that they are on the verge of falling apart.

In particular, the new promo below from Tuesday’s episode features Gibbs telling Jake that he should leave! What’s going on here? There are understandably many questions that you could ask, and we don’t have a concise answer. It’s possible that Jake has done something that is less-than-stellar, and that he has hurt Bishop emotionally in some way. However, it’s also possible that he is being set up, or that the two are simply having relationship problems that stem from her having to work so many hours at this job, which is not an easy one to work at in the first place when you consider all of the responsibility and the stress of it all.

There will be answers coming Tuesday, and based on everything that we are hearing right now, much of this is going to bleed one way or another into what is going to be happening in the episode to follow. That will be the Thanksgiving installment, where we see Bishop’s mother for the first time.
