‘Suits’ season 5 spoilers: One clue on who (didn’t) turn Mike Ross in
USA is making us wait a rather long time for “Suits” to return on January 27, and there is one question that we know many have had (understandably) over the long hiatus: Who is the responsible party for getting Mike Ross arrested? This moment has single-handedly changed the entire fabric of the series, and it is not entirely clear just yet if he will be able to work his way out of it.
While we cannot give you an answer as to who the guilty part is at the moment, we can at least offer you something: Confirmation on who it is not. In a post on Twitter, executive producer Aaron Korsh made it clear that it was not one of the show’s main six”; in other words, it is not anyone in the photo above. Therefore, you can eliminate the concerns that Rachel accidentally did something to hurt him, Louis Litt wanted to blow him up, or that even Harvey decided that he had enough of the chaos.
Ultimately, it figured that it was never one of these six in the first place, mostly because this is an action that makes it very hard to forgive. We feel like there are still many candidates, whether they be Rachel’s family, other workers within the firm, or maybe someone we don’t see coming at all. The challenge here more so than revealing the guilty part is finding a way to work it into the story and have it make sense.
There are still more episodes this season, so we imagine that in addition to giving us more information on who is behind this act, we’ll have plenty of opportunities to get into their head and understand their decision.
