‘Scorpion’ season 2 spoilers: ‘Arrivals and Departures’ and fears for Megan’s health

Sometimes, there is a lot that can be said about an episode of television just by looking at its title … and that may be clear based on what we know about the upcoming November 23 installment of “Scorpion.” Its name is “Arrivals and Departures,” and that immediately brings to mind such things as life and death. There will always be more people coming into the world, just as there will also be people saying goodbye.

We hope that we are reading this wrong and the title does not necessarily mean death is coming up, but the synopsis below has us even more worried:

“When Team Scorpion and Walter’s parents visit Megan in the hospital as her health deteriorates, they are quarantined after a deadly fungus outbreak threatens to infect everyone.”

The fact that Walter’s whole family is stopping by does not give us an abundance of hope; if she does go, what we at least hope is that we have some more moments between her and Sylvester before that. We’ve found that story to be especially interesting to watch unfold. You can see that there is some deep love there between the two, and he seems content with the idea of just enjoying whatever time with her that he has, even if he knows there is a good chance that the story will not have a happy end.

We don’t meant to depress everyone too much here, since there is always a chance that things will turn around. Ultimately, though, there is a big part of this that we are going to have to wait until the episode airs to know.
