‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6: First details on ‘Five Years Forward’ special

While there may not be a holiday episode of “Pretty Little Liars” this fall for the first time in many years, the folks over at ABC Family have still come up with a rather unique way of ensuring that there is at least something related to the show that you can enjoy right before diving into the Thanksgiving holiday: “Five Years Forward,” a special really designed in order to give you better perspective on some of what is going to be happening for some of your favorite characters when the show returns in January.

If you want some early details all about it now, the synopsis below explains just what it will be about:

“Pretty Little Liars: 5 Years Forward” offers fans a glimpse at what everyone’s favorite characters have been up to inside and outside of Rosewood over the past five years. The episode will feature never-before-seen scenes, backstage tours of brand new PLL sets, interviews with the cast and crew surrounding the highly anticipated time jump, including the style evolution of the Liars, and more.”

So really, there is probably not going to be anything story-related that you are going to be able to get from this special; yet, at the same exact time, it could be a fun way to burn a little bit of time when there is not much else happening. Thanksgiving week tends to be a particularly slow one, and this will at least remind fans that there is something worth looking forward to in the new year.
