‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 7 spoilers: Lily throws another party, but for who?

We have had a chance over the past few weeks of “The Vampire Diaries” to learn a few important things about the character of Lily Salvatore. What’s one of the biggest ones? That she happens to be a fan of parties. We saw one on this past episode to welcome Julian back to the world, and come the December 3 installment entitled ““Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me” (which sounds like the title for a song straight out of the “Rocky Horror Picture Show”), we’re going to see yet another one.

In case you are wondering what the occasion is this time, the synopsis below makes that very clear:

“As Julian (guest star Todd Lasance) and Lily (guest star Annie Wersching) throw a party to celebrate Mary Louise (guest star Teressa Liane) and Nora’s (guest star Scarlett Byrne) anniversary, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) set in motion a risky plan to eliminate a new threat posed by Julian. Meanwhile, following a major revelation uncovered by Valerie (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore), Caroline (Candice King) is forced to face her new reality, even as it threatens to destroy her relationship with Stefan. Finally, determined to do what’s best for her family, Lily makes the most difficult decision of her life.”

Our guess is that this episode will serve as the penultimate one before the winter finale, so we expect some big events to occur that could unspool during that episode. The biggest question that we have right now is what’s going to happen after that crazy Caroline pregnancy reveal, but it feels almost like The CW is deliberately not talking about it in any recent synopses since they did not want the events of last night’s episode to be spoiled.
