‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: Sara Rue signs up for guest arc
While there may have been some bad news for “Bones” fans recently in the form of the show not being on Fox’s midseason schedule, there is at least some good news that we can offer you right now: You are going to be seeing a lot of Sara Rue moving further into the season!
According to a report from TV Guide, the former “Rules of Engagement” and “Less Than Perfect” star is set to appear in the two-part fall finale on December 10 as Leslie Green, a very smart behavior analyst who, despite some flaky tendencies, is poised to spend some time with Booth. However, he tries to turn her away, and as is the case in most situations, that only makes her want to prove herself more. She will recur across much of the second half of the season, as well … even though we have no idea as of yet when it is going to air.
Anytime you can get someone like Rue around for a long span of time is a good thing, given that is she not only talented, but also a great addition in terms of comedy. We feel like this show is especially at its best when it is embracing the weird and the wacky, and hopefully she will help with that in the same way that the “Sleepy Hollow” crossover did. (The same goes for the recent Betty White appearance.)
You do have some episodes coming up before we get to the one featuring Rue, so for the time being, be on the lookout for those! You can also head over here to get some of the other latest news when it comes to the show.
