‘Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance’ episode 8 video: A reward challenge brings back Wiglesworth’s past

Kelly -

On “Survivor Cambodia: Second Chance,” Jeff Probst really loves to reference Kelly Wiglesworth and what she has done out on the game to date. Maybe much of that is due to her not really bringing much to the game strategically, or it’s just because he has a nostalgic place in his heart for this season. Either way, it is clearly something that he loves to reference, and that is precisely what he does in the sneak peek below for Wednesday night’s new episode.

Probst references that this is a rowing challenge, something that they did all the way back in the first season … and something that Kelly, despite having a career that makes her perfect for the challenge, lost to Gervase in. It’s a full team challenge this time, so she at least has it goes for her that she is going to have some help.

The reward here is getting to go to the Survivor Cafe for a fun time eating and recharging, but should you really want to go on this? We’d argue in this case probably, but only because so many people are going with you. We’d argue that if it was a case where there were more people staying back then going, it is beneficial more often than not to lose provided that your body can handle it. You want to be where most of the people are, especially when these people are bitter for not getting to be out on reward.

Yes, we know that CBS could have put out a better preview for what we’re hearing is going to be a pretty crazy episode, but at this point we’ll take what we can get.
