NBC’s ‘The Voice’ rankings: Evan McKeel, Madi Davis, Darius Scott top Team Pharrell
As always, we’re ranking based on performance quality, edit, screen time, and also the past history of similar acts on the show.
5. Mark Hood – Mark’s got a nice voice, and picks some nice songs. Our concern going into the next stage of the competition is whether or not he is easy to remember. For the time being, we are still having to look up his past performances to know just what he even performed.
4. Riley Biederer – We really enjoyed her performance of “XO” in the Knockouts, but is everyone else going to feel the same way? She’s got an uphill battle to claim just thanks to swapping teams at the last minute, and being surrounded by some other really talented people.
3. Darius Scott – We love Darius’ voice and his stage presence. He’s the sort of guy who you could listen sing for hours and never get bored. For now, our chief concern is whether or not he can find some more innovative songs to show off what he can do.
2. Madi Davis – She’s a little bit of an underdog, but she reminds up a lot of some of the other singers on past seasons who we’ve found very unique and interesting. Given Pharrell’s own extensive musical taste, it feels like there is a lot that she could do on the show.
1. Evan McKeel – Just going with voting history, Evan probably has the edge going into the next round. He’s got a mainstream voice that will appeal to most of the show’s viewers, but to add to that he also has going for him a lot of versatility.

Madi is boring. I don’t understand the hype.
