‘How to Get Away with Murder’ season 2 spoilers: Show boss on Annalise – Wes mystery

What is the relationship between Wes and Annalise Keating on ABC’s “How to Get Away with Murder“? We know this is one of the biggest mysteries at the moment haunting fans, and we also know that it is something that the show has not answered definitively just yet.

With that being said, did the show drop a huge hint on Thursday night with the conversation between Annalise and Eve? The words “it’s him” have many thinking that Wes may actually be Keating’s son, or there is something else that the two know that we don’t. This is something that creator Pete Nowalk touched on in an interview with TVLine:

“Obviously, Eve and Annalise have a secret. And bringing Famke [Janssen] back — with all the history between them — I really wanted Eve to know something about Annalise that nobody else did. It’s one of the questions I get the most. “Why does Annalise connect to Wes? What’s the deal there?” At this point we have to start to inch toward the answer. I know it’s frustrating to watch TV and not know certain things. But while that line doesn’t tell you a lot, it tells you you should pay attention — and we’ll give you an answer soon.”

Will that answer be before or after we learn who shot Annalise in the fall finale airing a week from Thursday? We cannot say just yet, but we’d be fine if this is a mystery that lasts until 2016. After all, we are just starting to put together the pieces now.
