ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 8 spoilers: More ‘One Life to Live’ alums joining Nathan Fillion
Who knew that there would be so many common threads between “Castle” and “One Life to Live” for an upcoming episode? It’s surprising, but that is not stopping it from happening.
In a post on Twitter, Nathan Fillion confirmed that his fellow former cast members Kassie DePaiva and Tuc Watkins are also appearing on the show. TVLine reports that it will likely be in the upcoming 10th episode of season 8 entitled “Witness for the Prosecution.” They also claim that former “One Life to Live” actress Darlene Vogel will also be turning up.
Judging from Fillion’s own comment on Twitter, he seems especially grateful to have some former co-stars on this show. Much like Adam Baldwin is turning up Monday night for “Cool Boys,” we think that he must appreciate getting a chance to work with people who are so deeply connected to a major part of his acting past. These are probably just going to be one-episode appearances, but it’s still nice to see him.
Now that we’re getting more “One Life to Live” actors onto “Castle,” is it too much to ask that we also get more “Firefly” alum? In addition to Baldwin, we’ve also had an appearance from Gina Torres at least somewhat recently.
This episode of “Castle” will be, pending some change in when the show airs them, the second one after it returns from an extended hiatus in February. Unlike past seasons, the show is splitting up episodes in a way similar to “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy.”

yeah, no. enough of these Fillion former cast reunions. with the exception of Dana Delaney. HER I would like to see again. Baldwin is enough to make me miss the live viewing – which I have not done in YEARS.

I have never seen Scandal, Firefly, One Life to Live or any of the other shows you mention so please do not refer to their characters, story lines, etc just say what message you want to convey instead. I also do not care what actors are “alum” of any show. I expect them to be capable of their role in Castle and, if not, hopefully we will not see them again.
