‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 8 preview: Is tension brewing between Walter, Sylvester over Megan?

We’ve certainly seen a wide array of funny moments on “Scorpion” as of late this season, but based on the sneak peek below, we are just about to get one of the most emotional ones that we’ve seen to date.

The situation, as you know, is fairly dire for Walter O’Brien’s sister Megan. She has multiple sclerosis, and in the sneak peek below, Walter seems particular upset with Sylvester over the lack of updates on her condition. From there, the two clash on the sort of treatment that she needs to be getting. Walter wants to be as aggressive as possible, thinking that he can do enough to get her through until he gets an influx of funds to further help her. However, at the same time Sylvester is more invested in doing what he thinks Megan wants and what is right for her. If these two continue to have differing philosophies in a critical time for Megan, this could create a rather big divide between the two characters.

No matter what happens, this is going to make for an emotional story. Both men care for her, and they are just trying to do what they think is best. In an effort to continue to protect her, Walter is going to do what he can to take on missions to collect money. It is just to be seen whether or not it will be enough.

One warning we’ll give you before watching the sneak peek: Have a hankie nearby. It’s possible you may get a little choked up.
