‘Bones’ season 11, episode 6 preview: Is it magic, or madness?
Any procedural show that wants to air an episode about magic is a show we can get behind. Next week’s new episode of “Bones” clearly has a lot going on, but the great news here still is that a whole lot of it feels like it will be fun. You’ve got politics mixed in here, trickery, and then also a story about Aubrey that feels like it could turn into a disaster for him very quickly depending on how he chooses to go about it.
If you have not seen the synopsis yet for this episode, take a look below:
“A pair of funny sanitation workers (guest stars Sal Vulcano and James Murray; ‘Impractical Jokers’) discover the shredded body of a U.S. Senator in a street sweeper, which leads Brennan, Booth and the team to Capitol Hill, where they meet with U.S. Senator and majority whip Hayley Winters (guest star Brenda Strong) and the victim’s chief of staff Eric Morales (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez) to get to the bottom of this political murder. Meanwhile, as Aubrey starts to develop a relationship with squintern Jessica (Laura Spencer), he looks into her past to make sure nothing will harm his dream of a future in politics.”
For those of you who watch “Bones” for the sort of standard November episodes that exist mostly for the case of giving you fun one-liners, weird murders, and interesting guest stars, this story should be right up your alley. If you are watching for deeper mythology … well, you may want to wait for a while.
