MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 5, episode 10 preview: Jenna Hamilton is (literally) on fire

Monday night’s new episode of “Awkward” is definitely going to be a huge one for the future of the series … and for so many reasons. This is the episode where Matty could finally tell her the truth about how he is feeling, which would propel these two characters in a direction where they have to make tough decisions in regards to their future.

In the sneak peek below, Matty clearly has not made it back to prom just yet to tell her how she really feels. Instead, what we have here is a situation of best of times for one person, and then worst of times for the other. While she watches Tamara and Adam dance, Jenna unfortunately realizes that her dress has been set ablaze on accident. She does her best to handle the tragic moment, but let’s just say that this is clearly noticed by other people at the prom.

After all, there is still one thing that could turn things around for Jenna, and we just have to see whether or not that happens next. You better believe that as per usual with such matters, we will have something to at least shift the balance ever so slightly in Jenna’s favor.
