Halloween TV: ‘Scream Queens’ marathon, ‘The Simpsons,’ ‘Haunted History,’ and more
Today is Halloween, which you would think for the most part would be the time of year when networks would want to bust out some great marathons or seasonal specials.
It’s with that in mind that we are actually a little bit disappointed with some of the network offerings that are out there at the moment, since we expected so much more from many of them! There’s nothing really that interesting on network TV tonight unless you are interested more in either football or repeats of other stuff.
However, we have luckily been able to single out at least a few notable things to take a look at provided that you’re feeling somewhat bored this afternoon / evening and want to get into the spirit of the holiday a little bit.
“Scream Queens” – For those of you who have not had a chance to get into the very-weird / very-funny Ryan Murphy series just yet, the good news is that it will be airing on FX from 6:00 p.m. Eastern until midnight. This is a way for Fox to try to get some more people hooked on the show.
“Haunted History” – You can check out the history of some really spooky stuff on FX from 4:00 p.m. until midnight.
“The Simpsons” – There was a Treehouse of Horror marathon that started earlier today on FXX, and that will be continuing (once again) until midnight.
Disney Channel marathon – Basically, you can see a wide array of different specials of some of your favorite shows all day long on the network.
If you’re more of a movie person, IFC is airing many movies from the “Nightmare on Elm Street” series all day.
