‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 7 preview: Steve’s date with Lynn goes south

“Hawaii Five-0” has given Steve McGarrett a pretty rough time over the course of this season, and it of course started with him and Catherine ending things … at least for the time being.

So where are we going to see the show go from here? The simple answer to that is a story that will feature McGarrett going on a date with Lynn next week that is meant to be rather romantic, but one that also happens to turn really south. Why is that? Let’s just say that these two characters have the unfortunate luck (or really, the same luck that anyone seems to have on one of these shows) of going to a place for said date that is already occupied with one of the worst people imaginable. We feel like the synopsis below gives you a further example of what is happening there:

“McGarrett’s first date with Lynn (Sarah Carter) on a deserted island turns deadly when a mob boss hiding there hunts them down in order to keep his location a secret. Also, Chin, Kono and Grover must race against the game clock to locate the father of a high school football star who will be murdered by a local gambler if his son doesn’t throw the big game.”

Ultimately, this is as interesting of a mix as you are going to find when it comes to stories, and we just hope that when the dust settles this turns out to be rather entertaining. At the moment, there is certainly no guarantee as to whether or not there will be a second date after this.
