‘Criminal Minds’ season 11 spoilers: More news on AJ Cook’s return!
If you follow the “Criminal Minds” cast in some capacity on social media, then you may have known already that we were going to be seeing AJ Cook back on the show this fall. Today, we’ve got some other news all about just what this big return for the character is going to look like.
November 11 is the return date for Cook’s JJ, and the episode featuring her in “Target Rich” is going to be important for not just this reason. You are going to see the return of Amber Stevens West as Rossi’s daughter, and to go along with that we will get to see the return of the Dirty Dozen plotline, which was first introduced earlier this season. This group is the closest thing right now that we have to a Big Bad for the season.
If you want to get some additional news all about what you can expect, the synopsis below is a great resource:
“The BAU helps Rossi’s journalist daughter, Joy (Amber Stevens West), investigate the disappearance of a college student. Also, the team is alarmed when Giuseppe Montolo (Robert Neary) dies in prison after he warns Morgan about the “Dirty Dozen,” an underground group of hitmen, and JJ returns from maternity leave.”
Ultimately, we’re excited about just about everything being hinted at here in this synopsis. It’s great to see that the Dirty Dozen is coming back before the season finale, and we’re happy to see JJ is back around the team once more. Aisha Tyler has done a great job in her stead, but Cook is someone we’ve become very much attached to over the years.
