‘Constantine’ episode 14 script released prior to ‘Arrow’ crossover

Constantine -While we have no idea whatsoever as to whether or not “Constantine” can or will be revived for The CW, what we can say for certain is that the canceled NBC show’s executive producer Daniel Cerone is not giving up … and we definitely give him mad props for that.

Earlier this week, Cerone promised that if a tweet of his promoting the upcoming appearance of Matt Ryan as John on “Arrow” drew enough retweets, he would post the script for what would’ve been the 14th episode of the show. NBC only ended up filming 13 episodes before sending the show away to the TV graveyard in the spring.

Luckily, John Constantine has shown time and time again that he has a knack for helping to bring things back to how they once were…

Ultimately, the idea here for “Constantine” fans is that if enough of them watch “Arrow” on Wednesday and boost the ratings, then maybe the network may consider seriously picking up the show. The CW’s programming head this spring was rather dismissive of rumors that they could be considering it, and the reality is that they already have three superhero shows in “Arrow,” “The Flash,” and “Legends of Tomorrow.”

Still, there is a great argument for The CW choosing to add another show to their roster: Most of their non-superhero shows are not doing very well at the moment. “The Originals” and “The Vampire Diaries” are falling, and “Crazy Ex Girlfriend” and “Reign” are both struggling mightily in the numbers. “iZombie” is faring okay, but it benefits from “The Flash” as a lead-in.

We’re going to track the ratings closely for “Arrow” next week, so bookmark this page and come back next week for scoop about how it fares!
