‘Shark Tank’ video: STEM Center heats things up for Chris Sacca, Lori Greiner

Shark Tank -

Chris Sacca is the new Shark making his way into “Shark Tank” on Friday night, and the prolific investor (who hit early on Twitter, Uber, and many others) is going to waste little time at all figuring out a way to make his presence felt.

The sneak peek that you see below is coming your way courtesy of Yahoo! TV, and it features Sacca getting extremely competitive with Lori Greiner over STEM Center, a training program / product line that seems designed for the primary purpose of getting young people excited about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This is the sort of project that would make a Shark want to get involved, mostly because the cause is so noble and it looks good on an investment portfolio.

However, at the same time, you do still have to make sure the deal is right and that you can make money. Sacca makes it very clear the two investors working on this product that he is not entirely interested in working with Lori, who he proclaims to be mostly specialized in QVC and getting products into specialty stores. (She counters that she can do way more than that.) He wants to have enough skin in the game to make the investment worth his time.

This may be a tough decision for the STEM Center ladies to make. Lori brings more prestige as a Shark on this show, and may have a great team already together to help with her investments. Also, her presence could mean more face-time via udpate segments. However, Sacca probably has more direct experience in similar fields, and his fundamental understanding of some of what the product does could be greater.
