‘Gotham’ season 2 spoilers: Expect more Theo Galavan backstory

So who is Theo Galavan really? This is a question we would understand many fans of “Gotham” having at this point in the season. What we know is that he comes from a long line of power people, and is one of the first families of the city. Unfortunately, his family name has been destroyed over the course of time, he holds a great deal of anger towards the Wayne family for this. That’s why Bruce is a huge part of his plan.

Per TVLine, the upcoming November 23 episode of the Fox series entitled “The Son of Gotham” is going to be a further window into who he is, what his plan ultimately, is, and how he came to return to the city. John Stephens told the publication the following all about it:

“Gordon will finally peel back the layers and figure out what has been happening with Theo Galavan. We’ll also see young Bruce Wayne rise up and show a part of his character that no one has seen before.”

Stephens also commented that the November 9 episode entitled “Tonight’s the Night” will be a huge episode for fans of the Lee / Jim Gordon / Barbara Kean love triangle, which really isn’t a triangle so much anymore. It’s more Barbara peering into the relationship and wanting either Jim all to herself or completely miserable. Erin Richards seems to be having a lot of fun playing the crazy side of this character, and hopefully this continues for quite a while moving forward. Given that we’ve already lost Jerome and Kristen in recent episodes, we don’t need any more death.
