‘Gotham’ season 2, episode 7 preview: ‘Mommy’s Little Monster’ deals with Nygma aftermath and more

“Gotham” season 2 so far has relished in telling the stories of a wide array of villains, whether you are talking about Jerome, Theo Galavan, Oswald Cobblepot, or others. While not everyone is still alive, the ones who are will be front and center for some more insane stories to come … including the events of “Mommy’s Little Monster” next week.

Fox has already released the synopsis below for the episode, which makes it more than a little bit clear that there are a lot of loose ends to be tied up and that Theo may be in danger thanks to a revenge plot from the Penguin:

“Butch leads Penguin and his men to the warehouse where Gertrude is being held, as Penguin plots his revenge on Galavan for kidnapping his mother. Meanwhile, Nygma deals with the aftermath of a deadly accident.”

Death is something that populates this world in a near-constant basis, and for Oswald, this is really going to be a race against time to save Gertrude. As soon as Tabitha finds out that Butch is gone, you know that danger is going to be coming to her, right? This is going to be yet another intense episode; hopefully, it will continue the trajectory that the show has already set up for the season of being more dramatic and fantastic than ever. So far, this season has surpassed season 1 in almost every way. We’ll just have to wait and see what sort of shocks await us next time!
