‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 spoilers: Yara Greyjoy to return

LogoIs season 6 of “Game of Thrones” shaping up to be a great one for the members of House Greyjoy? It is starting to look that way. Theon is going to potentially have a big role alongside Sansa Stark, while Euron Greyjoy has already been cast.

Also, we know for sure that we are going to see none other than Yara Greyjoy on the show once more. Speaking in a new interview with the British Comedy Guide, actress Gemma Whelan, in the midst of discussing her work on Chastity Butterworth, described a little bit of how careful she must be before letting it be known that she is appearing back on the show:

“Even when I said I’m going to Northern Ireland on Wednesday to you just now, I thought ‘oh god, maybe I shouldn’t say that.’ You really watch your back on everything – ‘don’t say too much’. But at least it’s been leaked that I’m going to be in it, so I can talk freely about that.”

Of course, what she cannot talk about is what she is going to be up to there. The show is notoriously secretive, and it has to be even more so now thanks to the fact that they are venturing so far ahead of where the George R.R. Martin books ultimately are. We thought for a while that The Winds of Winter would make it out before the season 6 premiere, but at the moment, we are really not anywhere near as sure that it will.
