‘Homeland’ season 5, episode 5 preview: ‘Better Call Saul’ (seriously, that’s the title)

Hey, you gotta love cross-promotion, right? In naming their upcoming fifth episode of season 5 “Better Call Saul,” “Homeland” has presented to us immediately recognizable title that may be one of our favorites of the entire series to date.

Also, they are presenting to us a story that is just as complex as always, with battle lines changing and people in serious danger. Let’s just say that there are a wide array of reasons why they may need Saul’s help.

For one, it looks like Quinn and Carrie could be close to being on the same page again! It was only a week ago we were somewhat worried that he was about to kill her, but now, it is stating to look more and more like she could be covering for him, crazy as that may seem. For those of you who potentially ‘ship these two characters, maybe you’ll see this as a good thing and a reason to hope that they could work something out down the road.

Also, expect an important episode for the character of Dar Adal, who will be working alongside Allison to figure out the present state of things. The cyber-attacks are not over, so the cast has to contend with a wide array of potential shockers that could still be dropped at almost any moment. We’re going to have some more information on this episode as we move on, but we are now officially a solid third into the season. At this point, things are more than likely only going to get crazier.
