‘Scorpion’ season 2, episode 6 preview: Paige talks Walter’s wild night

For Monday night’s new episode of “Scorpion,” CBS is making it clear that they want to do something rather different: Giving you a 90-minute episode! This is a chance to see some of the characters in a fun environment, and one that will at times be action-packed.

Just in case you are wondering why the network is extending this particular installment of the show, there is an easy answer: They want to ensure that there make tomorrow into an event in any way that they can. After all, the network also has the premiere of “Supergirl” and “The Big Bang Theory” on right before it; giving 90 minutes to “Scorpion” is a way that the show is going to compensate for some of that time.

By the time you reach the end of this installment, hopefully you’ll get some answers to at least a few storylines. As for the chemistry between Walter and Paige, though, we don’t imagine further information on that coming anytime soon.

The sneak peek below puts Elyes Gabel’s character in the spotlight, as he recovers from what was apparently for him a bender … of having only one drink. His hotel room is a mess, and Paige and Cabe have a little bit of a field day investigating what happened. With that said, are things going to change the moment that Paige starts to smell perfume in the air? If nothing else, maybe it’ll cause a fun character moment that could have the two questioning where they stand once more.
