Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” is telling a variety of different stories at the moment, but there is a theme with many of them: Mysterious organizations that are causing SHIELD trouble. On one side, we have Hydra. They are slightly-less-mysterious in that we’ve seen them around since the first season, and we feel like to a certain extent we know what Grant Ward is bringing to the table now.
As for the other, we have the ATCU. Rosalind’s group of Inhuman-hunters was an adversary for SHIELD at the start of the season, but more recently it has seemed like the two parties could work together. Unfortunately, by the time we get around to the November 3 episode entitled “Among Us Hide…,” that may not be the case anymore. The synopsis below offers up a few other teasers in terms of what to expect:
“The stakes get even higher as Hunter and May continue to go after Ward and Hydra, and Daisy and Coulson begin to suspect that the ATCU may be keeping a big secret.”
This story is going to be interesting in propelling further what is going on with Hunter and May, but we have a hard time thinking that Hydra is going to be stopped at any point in the near future. Instead, what we may have in this episode is a prime example of seeing how the show raises the game, and potentially puts people in jeopardy. Also, it could push the ATCU to the limit, since we presume that Constance Zimmer is not going to be a part of the season forever as Rosalind.
