‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 4 preview: Diane gets put in impossible position

Good Wife -Sunday night’s new episode of “The Good Wife” is only a matter of a day away, and based on the sneak peek below, this is going to prove itself to be a particularly challenging case for Diane Lockhart in particular.

What’s the reasoning for that? It is all thanks to the arrival of Peter Gallagher’s character, who in turn forces her into doing something that has to be rather low on the list of things that she wants to do: Argue on a stance that she vehemently opposes. While she has an opinion about euthanasia that she has been made very clear, he argues to her that she is the only person who can make the opposite argument in court. She’s the master of devil’s advocate, so how knows the position better than the devil? These are his words, not our own! Diane will never be the devil to us.

While this is terrible news for Diane, it’s clearly good news for us since it means an opportunity to catch another outstanding performance from Christine Baranski on this upcoming episode. She’s consistently done good work throughout the series, but with the focus so much on Alicia in bond court and Peter’s Presidential run, there hasn’t been as much time for her as of late. Hopefully, this episode will be at least one chance to change things.

We’re going to have a full review for this episode up not long after it airs, so be sure to be on the lookout once more for that.
