‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: When will Brandon Routh arrive as Ray Palmer?

Arrow -Through the first few episodes of “Arrow” season 4, we have seen many of these characters operate under the presumption that Ray Palmer is dead. It’s an interesting place to be as a viewer, given that we know that not only is this not the case, but the character is going to be a huge part of the upcoming “Legends of Tomorrow.” Therefore, we’ve been in a little bit of a waiting game to figure out just when the character will be arriving, and also what he will be like when he’s back.

Luckily, we are here to confirm that Ray will in fact surface on the upcoming November 11 episode entitled “Lost Souls.” The synopsis below makes it clear that you are going to see this character in a fairly surprising place. Not only that, but it also appears like the Lazarus Pit is still going to be making its impact known on Sara Lance several episodes removed from resurrection:

“Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is frantic when she learns that Ray (guest star Brandon Routh) is alive and being held by Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough). Felicity’s guilt over not finding Ray sooner causes tension between her and Oliver (Stephen Amell). Meanwhile, Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) joins Laurel (Katie Cassidy), Thea (Willa Holland) and the team on a rescue mission for Ray. However, the effects of the Lazarus Pit take over and threaten to jeopardize the entire operation. Donna Smoak (guest star Charlotte Ross) returns to Star City.”

In the end, it feels fair to say that Nyssa destroyed the Pit for a reason: She does not want anyone else to suffer in the way that Sara will as a result of this. I’ll be a long journey for her. Meanwhile, for Ray it may be more of an issue of trying to figure out if he can still be the same optimistic guy after being captured and nearly killed.
