‘Supernatural’ season 11 spoilers: When will Metatron return?

What's coming up? -All fans of Curtis Armstrong, rejoice! While “King of the Nerds” may be gone for the moment after its cancellation over at TBS, Curtis will be returning to “Supernatural” in the popular role of Metatron on the upcoming November 11 episode entitled “Our Little World.”

The good news for Castiel in this episode is that he is going to be able to actually track Metatron down after a little bit of search in order to stop the season’s big bad in the Darkness. Unfortunately for him, the problem is that we could see a relatively unmotivated response. Take a look at the episode’s synopsis below:

“Castiel (Misha Collins) seeks out Metatron’s (guest star Curtis Armstrong) help to stop the Darkness. However, Metatron is pretty happy with his new life as a freelance videographer for the local news and isn’t inclined to help the Winchesters (Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles) or Castiel. Meanwhile, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) is losing his hold on Amara.”

It’s nice to see this “Supernatural” episode in particular tackling two separate things. First and foremost, we’re glad to have Metatron back since that character does serve as a good source of comedy. In addition to that, we’re tackling the main story. If the show kills two birds with one stone, we’re always going to be happy. Unless something terrible happens there’s always potential for Metatron to return; at this point, he is firmly a part of the recurring stable of characters that can pop in on this show from time to time. With Charlie now gone, you may need to add another person or two to the list.
