‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: Would Betty White be game for return appearance?

Tonight, “Bones” season 11 is going to bring you a dose of major star power as Betty White, fresh off of many seasons of “Hot in Cleveland” and the latest round of internet fame, is set to guest star. She is the sort of person who brings a little bit of humor and spirit to anything that she does, and she certainly seemed to do that by playing Dr. Beth Mayer on this show.

Is this the only appearance that we are ever going to get from Betty on this show? Well, White tells Entertainment Weekly that she is open to a reprisal of the part, and also explained that she was fairly happy that she did not have to deal with any dead bodies, real or fake, while on the set of the show in Los Angeles:

“I’m a little squeamish … Thankfully I only dealt with bones, not bodies. I’m grateful it’s not my real day job.”

This episode of “Bones” is going to be followed up quickly by the “Sleepy Hollow” crossover, which to us is a further indicator that this show is really firing off on all cylinders right now in an effort to try to bring some people in. Hopefully, some of this works. The future for the series on Fox beyond this season is not entirely clear, but we would certainly like to see it last for a little while if it is at all possible.
