‘Criminal Minds’ season 11, episode 5 preview: Thomas Gibson directs ‘The Night Watch’
For those of you who love “Criminal Minds,” we come today bearing good news: Next week’s episode will be another directorial effort from Thomas Gibson! One of the great things about this show having so large a cast is that they can allow for actors to take on this job, since they will still have enough other important people on the show itself to fill up the time that the actor needs behind the scenes. (Directing, after all, is far from an easy job.)
Gibson’s episode is going to take you to a place in Detroit that has been used as a setting for many a crime show, and specifically, we will have a chance to see some troubles arise in the personal life of Dr. Tara Lewis. The synopsis, if you have not seen it already, is below:
“When the BAU investigates incidents of bodies being incorporated into macabre graffiti art in Detroit, they suspect an elusive-yet-notorious street artist could be the UnSub. Also, Dr. Lewis struggles to balance her relationship with her fiancé and her work, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, Oct. 28 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Series star Thomas Gibson directed the episode.”
Is it possible that these “troubles” end up being what take Tara away from the show? We have to consider it, if for no other reason than that we know that her time aboard the series is relatively limited given Aisha Tyler’s schedule; not only that but AJ Cook is going to be coming back a little bit later in the fall.
