‘The Flash’ season 2, episode 3 preview: Jay Garrick explains the Breach

How do meta-humans travel between Earth-1 and Earth-2 on “The Flash“? It’s not so simple as they have a handy portal or TARDIS located nearby that they can hop into. Instead, they need something very specific known as the Breach, which is a window of sorts between worlds that requires a very specific skill set to travel through.

Unfortunately for the team at STAR Labs, none of them seem to possess it … and this includes Jay Garrick. The sneak peek below from Tuesday night’s new episode is a bit of a crash-course from Jay as to what he knows about the Breach … and then we see Barry theorize that maybe the way to make it work properly is by running through it as fast as humanly possible. As it turns out, not so much. It seems instead like the only thing you can really do is research it further.

Is there one person with the knowledge? Sure, but they go by the name of Zoon, and we don’t imagine that he is interested in lending much of a helping hand. He is out to kill Barry, and his means of doing so right now involves sending over meta-humans with the promise that if they get rid of him, he will bring them back home. It’s a rough arrangement; that much is for sure.

Watching this sneak peek may increase the likelihood of you liking Jay even more as a character … if that is possible. The man has fit perfectly into this world already!
