‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3, episode 4: Coulson’s deal; also, Lash!

Lash -

There are a pair of stories pertaining to Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” that are worthy of some discussion right now, but let’s begin with the photo above. This image, first shared by “Access Hollywood,” is your first in-depth look at Matthew Willig as the character Lash. While he did first surface in the premiere, the dangerous Inhuman was only spotted in short glimpses. This is one of your first chances to see him in his full-on, super-intimidating form. Expect to see the character as a key cog to a variety of different stories in the upcoming episodes, including the quest to show that there are many good Inhumans out there that SHIELD can work with. This just doesn’t appear to be one of them.

At the moment there are two rival organizations working on tracking down the Inhuman threat, and judging from the sneak peek below, Daisy has very clear feelings over the one led be Rosalind Price (Constance Zimmer). She is far from pleased with the temporary arrangement that Coulson has with her, even if there is zero evidence that this is going to last an extremely long period of time.

As a matter of fact, we have plenty of confidence that this arrangement will not be permanent. Zimmer is a regular over on Lifetime’s “UnREAL,” and thanks to that she will really only have so much time to film this role.

In the end, the important thing to note is that there is a chance for some exciting / electric stuff on Tuesday night; anytime we can get a character as fearsome as Lash on the show has to be a time that many of us as fans celebrate.
