‘Dancing with the Stars 21’ results preview: Should Paula Deen, Andy Grammer, Tamar Braxton worry?

Paula -Monday night’s “Dancing with the Stars” has the potential to be even more dramatic than most. After all,  there are two stars being eliminated, and anytime that happens you have to wonder for a minute about whether or not someone is going to be sent home in some sort of shocking fashion.

Let’s start with what should be obvious: Paula Deen is going home tonight. Maybe there’s a 5% chance at most she has the votes to stay, but the double-elimination format really hurts her. We wouldn’t be shocked if her fans rally her to next-to-last on the leaderboard once their votes are calculated, but this sort of twist is one of the ways to keep a less-than-stellar dancer from making it to the end.

After that, we really do think that it is a complete toss-up. Carlos and Alexa PenaVega both probably saved themselves from danger by doing killer routines last week, and Bindi Irwin and Nick Carter have been the favorites from the beginning. We feel like everyone else is in some danger.

If we were to predict the likely candidates, we’d say that Andy Grammer is in some big jeopardy since he’s yet to have that huge breakout dance. Meanwhile, Hayes Grier has a following that is very young and could forget to vote, Alek Skarlatos really isn’t famous other than being a hero, and Tamar Braxton had some uncharacteristically low scores. For the sake of causing the biggest scandal, her elimination would send shockwaves. Everyone thinks that she is destined to make the final four, but if there was a week to send her home, this could be it.
