‘Girl Meets World’ season 2, episode 22 video: Does Riley have a secret admirer?

This has certainly been a busy week when it comes to content on “Girl Meets World,” but come Sunday night at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time, the saga of “Girl Meets Texas” will finally come to a close. Is Riley going to admit to feelings for Lucas, or will he and Maya start to take some steps forward in their relationship? Things remain up in the air, and are complicated further by Lucas asking Riley to keep a certain element of what happened in Texas a secret.

There is one further component to this, though, that should be addressed: Who is Riley’s secret admirer? In the promo below for Sunday’s grand finale of this event, you can see her receive a note from someone asking her out on a date, and she ends up accepting it. Who could it be? Let’s go through the possibilities:

Lucas – It seems a little strange given that they’ve already had an open forum for her feelings, but maybe they want to operate in secret to not hurt Maya (though in doing this, they could end up hurting Maya even more).

Farkle – Hey, a date between these two would at least be fun to watch, and there was certainly interest there dating back to the very first episode of the series. Wouldn’t you enjoy seeing how this develops over time?

Zay – It seems a little random given that we just got over everything with Vanessa, but there aren’t many other options among male characters with significant screen time.
