‘The X Factor’ UK review: Silver Tone, BEKLN, 4th Power officially on Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini’s team
Tonight’s new episode of “The X Factor” had a couple of things that it needed to address. Sure, you had to see how some of the contestants fared in Simon Cowell’s category of Overs, but they also had to wrap up the members of Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini’s Groups as well. This category really suffered when it comes to air time, but there are a few singers who are now officially in this group that weren’t there last Sunday.
Take a look below for some of the official results.
4th Power – The ladies from the Philippines were put through last week, and they were really great this time around. They need to dial it back a little at times, but they are no doubt some of the most talented people here.
Menn on Point – Probably the most controversial entry, mostly because of the way that Simon seemed to react to this group being moved through to the next round over better singers like Rumour Has It. We’re not sure they have live-show support, but they’re fun!
The First Kings – Although they’re a little bit dated, the talent is undeniably present. They just have to figure out a way to get it together in the next round.
Silver Tone – After some substandard performances the past couple of weeks, these ladies really turned it up and nailed it tonight!
BEKLN – This is also the first time we’d say that Silver Tone was slightly better, but we feel like these guys could be Britain’s version of Boyz II Men if they continue to work hard at this.
Alien – The best thing about these women is that we’ve got no idea what they’re going to do on any given week. Power to the strange!
