‘Game of Thrones’ season 6 spoilers: More Hodor? More Hodor!

We briefly considered writing this entire “Game of Thrones” article in Hodor-speak, but given how few people would probably appreciate that, it’s probably fine that we changed our mind on this.

What we can tell you for now is something that many of you probably assumed was going to be coming: More Hodor in the next batch of new episodes! He’s a fan-favorite character, and we know that there were many out there who did not so much appreciate the sheer lack of him over the course of season 5. He and Bran were completely off the map, with one of the largest reasons for that being mostly that the show had fully caught up with the story for his character. There really was not anything left for him to do unless producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss wanted to get really far ahead … and there was no real reason to do that.

While Hodor’s return for season 6 is not officially confirmed, actor Kristian Narin more or less let it be known in a new interview with Verizon:

“I can’t say … It will probably become public knowledge soon. I know Bran [Isaac Hempstead Wright] has broken the fact that he’s back, but it’s fairly self-explanatory that if Bran is back, then… Do you think I have this beard for no reason?”

Most of that interview is actually spent focusing more on Nairn’s music career, and he does drop a few little surprises that we did not know about previously. For example, apparently both Finn Jones and Alfie Allen from the show are also DJs to go along with his own personal contributions.
