‘Supergirl’ spoilers: First look at episode 2 ‘Stronger Together’

Supergirl -

CBS has certainly taken its time before giving us some news on “Supergirl.” With the show starting so late on October 26, it’s almost like they have let the publicity for almost every other fall show come and go, and therefore they are now in a position where they can really pour it on for Kara Zor-El and company.

Will that work out in the show’s favor when it comes to the ratings? We’re going to have to wait and see with that, but for now we do come bearing the first official details on the second episode of the season, and really the first new one for those who have seen the pilot already, in November 2’s “Stronger Together.” This is a chance to see how Kara is getting used to being in costume, and how this is going to be much more of an adjustment than she imagined. Take a look at the synopsis:

“When Kara’s attempts to help National City don’t go according to plan, she must put aside the doubts that she – and the city’s media – has about her abilities in order to capture an escapee from the Kryptonian prison, Fort Rozz. Also, Cat pressures James to use his connection to Superman to get her an interview with Supergirl.”

We would relate some of what Kara is going to go through to the early days of Barry Allen on “The Flash.” While she has more command of her powers, there are still issues when it comes to implementing them in the outside world. (By this, we mean mostly her not hurting anyone on accident, and making sure the public stays on her side.)

As we get closer to the “Supergirl” premiere, we figure more news will start pouring out. Stay tuned for more on that, and you can see some of the latest casting news over at this link!
