‘Bones’ season 11, episode 4 preview: Betty White appears in ‘The Carpals in the Coy-Wolves’

Bones -The first two episodes of “Bones” were largely about getting Booth and Brennan back to the Jeffersonian, and now that this has happened, the priority is really all about giving you some of the same fun that you’ve come to expect from the series over the years.

Specifically, “The Carpals in the Coy-Wolves” next week will bring us none other than entertainment icon Betty White as a famous forensic anthropologist, and someone who could spend some time clashing with Brennan. Not only will she prove to be more than up to speed with the tools of the trade, but she also happens to be extremely well-versed in the world of college football. As the synopsis below indicates, there are a variety of interesting events that you can expect to see unfold:

“A real-estate agent’s remains are discovered in a forest and show signs of being partially devoured by coyote-wolf hybrids, so Brennan solicits help from an older, distinguished forensic anthropologist, who amazes the staff with her decades of experience and surprising knowledge of fantasy football, with which the victim was heavily involved and even linked him to a social-media feud with an NFL star.”

We’re mostly thrilled to see what Betty brings to this show, mostly because we feel like “Bones” can always use a little more humor, just as Brennan can always use a challenge from someone else supremely smart in her field. There are not many opportunities in which this happens on the show.
