‘Criminal Minds’ season 11, episode 4 preview: First look at ‘Outlaw’
“Criminal Minds” is a show that tends to find a wide array of ways to utilize their cast members, and you saw some of that on Wednesday night with an episode helmed by series regular Joe Mantegna.
So moving forward, where is the story going with “Outlaw”? This is a story that is going to be about opening up a cold case, and also visiting a different Las Vegas than the one routinely seen in episodes of “CSI.” Take a look at the synopsis below:
“When three restaurant workers are killed in a robbery/homicide in Las Vegas, N.M., the BAU looks at a cold case that happened in the town six years ago for leads.”
Since this synopsis gives us virtually nothing in terms of character storylines to focus on, let’s instead share some of the research that we uncovered on the other Las Vegas that is a primary setting for this episode. It’s a place with a small population of around 15,000, and while it may not be known for its casinos or shows featuring magicians, it does have a place in cowboy history books and holds a variety of memories and buildings harkening back to the Old West. We’re not exactly sure how much of this will be replicated on Los Angeles sets, but it will be interesting to see. Nobody travels to various parts of the country on a weekly basis quite like this particular team.
We’ll have some further news on “Criminal Minds” moving forward, so stay tuned for some of that!
