‘Fargo’ season 2 spoilers: Show boss on big difference from season 1
The second season of “Fargo” is going to be premiering on FX come Monday night, and with that, you have a show with expectations through the roof. Everyone is curious to see how the story will dive back into the past, and tell you all about a case that will completely rock a community and inform Lou Solverson for much of the rest of his life. We feel like one of the reasons he ends up running the diner in the first season is so that he can create some distance between his past and the present.
Like so many other big series, the show held a premiere party in Los Angeles recently. Noah Hawley is the creator and showrunner behind all of the action, and speaking in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he made it clear just what makes this particularly product different from the first season:
“I didn’t set out necessarily to tell a much bigger story but the story I found myself telling just had a lot more moving pieces but I find that very exciting because then its like a horse race in a way. You feel like you know who the big players are and who’s going to make it to the end but there are a lot of permutations so it keeps the audience guessing.”
The only thing that we are doing right now, other than wondering just what the likes of Kirsten Dunst, Patrick Wilson, and Ted Danson will bring to the table, is keeping some of our expectations from going berserk. We know that the series can deliver, but our chief concern right now is that after “True Detective,” we don’t want to assume anything about a brilliant show going into another season.
