‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 2 preview: Mr. Terrific arrives, Thea’s problems, more in ‘The Candidate’

Speedy -During Wednesday night’s premiere of “Arrow,” Oliver Queen decided to put on the famous hood again. The difference? A change in moniker. He’s now the Green Arrow, and he’s definitely a more balanced and Zen hero than before. He’s got a girlfriend he loves, a life he enjoys, and then also a responsibility to try to help those who need it.

As we saw in the premiere at times, though, things are going to be getting worse for Oliver, and that picturesque life that he had is not going to be there in the way that it was when he was enjoying suburbia / having his head in the sand about what Felicity is up to. “The Candidate” next week brings more struggles for Thea Queen as she tries to handle some more side-effects of the Lazarus Pits, while at the same time an old friend of Moira’s in Jessica Danforth may run into some trouble during a Mayoral campaign.

If you haven’t seen the synopsis below just yet, it offers up more details … including the arrival of Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt a.k.a. Mr. Terrific:

“When an old family friend, Jessica Danforth (guest star Jeri Ryan), tells Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Thea (Willa Holland) that she is going to run for mayor, both Queens are concerned considering the last three mayors have been murdered. Despite their protests, Jessica makes her announcement so the Green Arrow and Speedy vow to protect her. Meanwhile, Thea begins to exhibit effects from the Lazarus Pit. In addition, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is faced with a tough business decision and looks to one of her employees, Curtis Holt (guest star Echo Kellum), for help.”
